Global News has received a mountain of nominations for this year’s RTDNA Awards.
RTDNA Canada, the Association of Electronic Journalists, honour the best journalists, programs, stations and newsgathering organizations in radio, television and digital annually.
Several Global News personalities will receive life-time achievement awards, including Tom Clark, host of The West Block.

In the Atlantic region, RTDNA will honour former Global Halifax news anchor Allan Rowe posthumously. Rowe, who went into provincial politics, died a year ago.
Global Edmonton’s Gord Steinke and Global BC’s Clive Jackson will also receive lifetime achievement awards in their respective regions.
A full list of the nominations are available on the RTDNA website. Global News picked up a handful of nominations in all four regions: Atlantic, Central, Prairies and B.C.
