Playboy Magazine may soon have a new owner.
The head honchos at Playboy Enterprises are currently exploring the idea of putting the company on the block in a sale which could net over $500 million US, Playboy CEO Scott Flanders told CNN.
Flanders said the idea for the sale “arose out of the interest in the sale of (Playboy) Mansion.”

The company put the legendary estate up for sale for $200 million in January with the stipulation that the magazine’s founder Hugh Hefner be allowed to live out the rest of his days on the property.

So far no one has ponied up for an opportunity to hang out with an 89-year-old in the mansion’s grotto.

The package could include the mansion, the magazine, playboy.com as well as various other licencing deals.
The magazine, which has seen its circulation plummet, has been undergoing a revolution as of late with the company announcing last October they would no longer be using nude photos in their publication.
