“I think it’s great for his social skills to get out and mingle with other children with the same disabilities, it’s wonderful,” Len Komyshyn said.

The concept started in Las Angeles, and has picked up momentum across North America. The idea is to help kids release energy and have fun in a comfortable setting.

“Our goal here is to provide a hospitable environment for children with sensory challenges,” Stephanie Harris at Sky Zone said.

“We have the facilities to do it so we are happy to.”

Dimming the lights and and low music make the environment more comfortable for the kids, and help the parents feel more relaxed too.

The staff said the event sold out all 100 tickets in advance. They plan on hosting it the third Wednesday of every month.
