Baio had previously endorsed Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, who pulled out of the race in September. At the time, Walker requested that several of the candidates from crowded field do likewise in order to stifle Trump’s bid for the nomination.

Baio said he is looking for a catalyst for change in Washington as he is “fed up” with the Republican Party.
