Strong odour helps lead Prince Albert police to 253 grams of marijuana

Three Prince Albert men were arrested after a drug bust in the city Thursday. Officers conducted a traffic stop at around 9:25 p.m. CT in the 200-block of 22nd Street West.

While approaching the vehicle, police noted the strong odour of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The occupants were arrested.

As a result of the investigation, police seized 253 grams of marijuana.

The men, aged 24, 25 and 26, are facing a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana.

All three were scheduled to make their first appearance Friday in Prince Albert provincial court.
