WINNIPEG – The Jeanne-Sauve Olympiens are the champions of the Winnipeg Women’s High School Hockey League for the first time in school history.
The Olympiens hung on for a 1-0 shutout victory over the Kelvin Clippers in the deciding game three of the “A” Division final. Paige Collins scored the game winning goal for Jeanne Sauve in the third period. Channelle Vandal made 16 saves for the shutout for CJS.
In the “B” Division final the Sturgeon Heights Huskies defeated the Miles Mac Buckeyes 2-1 in game three to secure the division championship.
