Snow warnings from Environment Canada

Environment Canada has issued weather warnings for several areas around the Okanagan.

Up to 20 centimetres is expected in the Boundary region along Highway 3 from the Paulson Summit to the Kootenay Pass.

The Coquihalla could see between 15-25 centimetres between Hope and Merritt.  The same goes for Highway 3 Hope to Princeton via Allison Pass.

Snow will begin this afternoon with the heaviest accumulation expected through the evening and overnight hours.

The Environment Canada warning warns drivers to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
