Witnesses said there was a collision before the incident which the woman is believed to have been a part of.

“I heard tires screeching which got my attention,” witness Pearly Ward told KHOU. “And I looked up and I saw this car hit the railing of the freeway.”

Ward said she called 911 for the collision, but then realized that a woman began to strip nude.

KHOU reported that the woman dodged traffic and allegedly forced the 18-wheeler to stop and climbed on top of the cabin.

“Oh Lord! She sat down on top of the hood. She stood up and she was acting like she was shooting at them with a machine gun,” said Ward.

The unidentified 25-year-old woman also reportedly danced and gyrated at times.

Firefighters approached the woman with ladder trucks and attempted to coax her down, but were met with outbursts.

“A lot of times she was real quiet, but then she had outbursts about the FBI and the CIA is after her,” said volunteer firefighter Brian Shirley.

“She was talking about all sorts of things. Wall Street, the CIA, aliens and all types of things,” said Deputy Thomas Gilliland with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman was taken to a hospital for an evaluation. Charges have not yet been laid.

“I just felt so sorry for the lady,” said Ward. “I just whispered a prayer for her because I could tell at that point something was wrong with her.”
