UPDATE — DriveBC is reporting that Highway 1 west of Salmon Arm has now reopened.
SALMON ARM — Highway 1 is closed in both directions because of a collision near Salmon Arm.

B.C. Ambulance says two ground ambulances and one air ambulance was dispatched to the Salmon River Bridge west of Salmon Arm at 7:45 Saturday morning.
One person was transported by ambulance in critical condition.
