TORONTO — A 36-year-old Toronto man has been charged with sexual assault after police say he rubbed his genitals, inappropriately touched a woman and injected a needle into himself on a GO bus from Peterborough.
Durham Regional Police officers responded to the Oshawa GO station after an 18-year-old woman reported that the man sat near her on the bus and started speaking with her before allegedly touching her inappropriately and rubbing his genital area.
Police said he then pulled out a syringe and injected himself with an unknown liquid while using explicit sexual language toward the woman.

The man was arrested by GO Transit special constables on the bus and later charged by police. The woman was not injured during the alleged incident.
Delroy Apple, age 36, of Toronto, has been charged with sexual assault, indecent act and failure to comply with a probation order. He was held for a bail hearing.
