SASKATOON – Gas prices have shot up at stations across Saskatoon this week. The average gas price in the city was around 64 cents-per-litre on Tuesday, according to figures from GasBuddy.com.
Three days and 20 cents later, most gas stations in Saskatoon were selling regular fuel for 84.9 cents Friday.

The cheapest gas was available at Costco, where people could fill up for 79.9 cents.
The average price in Saskatchewan early Friday afternoon was 78.2 cents, compared to the national average of 87.0 cents per lite.

Alberta was the province with the least expensive regular fuel in Canada. Saskatchewan had the second-cheapest fuel.
