Police seize marijuana, drug paraphernalia after responding to assist citizen call

Police dismantled a grow up this week, after responding to an assist citizen call on February 10.

Police were called to Autumn Drive after a verbal disagreement between two men who are neighbours.

After interacting with one of the men, officers saw what they believed to be a marijuana grow operation inside his apartment. They arrested the 59-year-old man and conducted a search.

A quantity of marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia was seized form the apartment.

The man faces charges of cultivation of marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 22.
