In the ’90s, the hit teen drama “Dawson’s Creek” introduced TV audiences to the highs and lows of teenage life in Capside, Massachusetts. The series ran for six seasons and launched the careers of James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, Canada’s own Joshua Jackson and, of course, Katie Holmes.
This past weekend, almost 13 years after the show ended, rumours of a reunion set the Internet into a frenzy. But, when ET Canada’s Rick Campanelli sat down with Holmes in Los Angeles, she revealed the possibility of a “Dawson’s Creek” reunion has pretty much dried up.

“I don’t think it’s going to happen,” the 37-year-old admits. “I think it’s better where it is. And we’re all really proud of it. And it meant so much to all of us to be a part of that.”
For now, the actress is focusing on her new film “Touched with Fire” – which tells the story of two manic depressive patients who begin dating after meeting in a psychiatric hospital.

“Sometimes falling in love is a mania,” says Holmes. “And so to include that in the midst of the exploration of this illness and how it’s affecting these people individually and then together… it’s almost like the audience can go on the highs and then the real lows with us.”
