A 2015 study found half of Canadians spend an average of $177 on gifts in honour of February 14. The biggest items purchased include, alcohol, jewelry, fashion objects and tech toys. Unique gifts are also worth a look. Chip lovers can consider Doritos new Ketchup Roses bouquet, and those obsessed with pizza should check out Boston Pizza’s heart-shaped zas.
