Flames could be seen shooting from the roof and smoke was noticed from as far away as downtown.
Crews were positioned on three sides of the structure to fight the fire. The roof had to be removed to make it easier for crews to attack the flames.
There’s no word on if any of the occupants were home at the time or how many units are inside the building.
However, crews told Global News there are no known injuries.
