Man witnessed exposing himself in public

KELOWNA — Kelowna RCMP are looking for a man who was seen exposing himself in public.

The incident happened early Tuesday morning at the intersection of Sutherland Avenue and Richter Street.

“Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of an unknown man who had been seen exposing himself and masturbating,” says Cpl. Joe Duncan.

“A witness was walking on Sutherland Avenue and saw an unknown woman walking in the opposite direction when he heard her scream and run across the road. The woman stated that there was a man masturbating in the bushes,” he adds.

He says the witness observed a man run from the bushes across the street while pulling up his pants.

Duncan says the man was witnessed getting into a red Honda.

The suspect man is described as, over 6 feet tall, darker skin, moustache with a scruffy beard, wearing light green pants and a winter jacket.

Police are asking for the woman who witnessed the incident to contact police.
