RAW:almond is taking its menu from The Forks to the frozen shores of Hudson Bay; but the price to dine will cost a minimum of $250.
The founders of the pop-up restaurant, along with Parks Canada and tourism company Frontiers North Adventures, have created another unique dining experience called RAW:churchill.

RAW:churchill has been scheduled for March 10-12. Guests will arrive to the site by travelling in a Tundra Buggy, which will take them across the frozen Churchill River to the Prince of Wales Fort National Historic Site. They will then be taken inside the fort for an upscale meal in a heated, transparent-roof “pop-up” restaurant.

“Never before has a culinary experience like this been hosted in Churchill,” John Gunter, President of Frontiers North Adventures said in a media release.
“At RAW:churchill, our guests will enjoy a world-class meal underneath the northern lights on the exact same spot that women and men of the Hudson’s Bay Company would have more than 250 years ago…”
RAW:churchill is offering a number of packages for those wanting to take in the experience. Travel rates and ticket prices include:
- Air return — $1,600 CAD
- One-way VIA, one-way Air — $1,250 CAD
- VIA Rail return — $815 CAD
- Land package — $500 CAD
- Evening — $250 CAD
