CALGARY – Police have identified a Calgary woman found dead in her Cranston home on Sunday afternoon.
The death of Cindy Enger, 51, has been deemed suspicious, but further tests are being conducted to confirm how she died, police said in a release.
Enger moved into the Cranston area in 2006 and had about 20 tenants live with her over the past 10 years, police said. Investigators are asking anyone who lived with her to contact Calgary police. She was last seen on Friday.
“At this time, the tenants are considered witnesses, not suspects,” police said in a release.
Police said Enger’s ex-husband was unable to contact her, so he called police on Sunday. Officers found her body after breaking down the door at a home in the 200 block of Cramond Close S.E. at around 2 p.m.
Neighbours told Global News a woman lives in the home with her teenage son, who she shares custody of.
