B.C Ferries cancels more sailings Saturday

It might be another day of rough seas for some B.C. Ferries travellers.

The Queen of New Westminster is still out of commission Saturday with mechanical problems, forcing more cancellations on the Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay route.

Much like Friday, when the mechanical troubles first began, the following sailings have been cancelled:

• 8 a.m. leaving Tsawwassen;

• 10 a.m. out of Swartz Bay;

• Noon leaving Tsawwassen;

• 2 p.m. out of Swartz Bay.

The 9 a.m. Tsawwassen sailing was already 90 per cent full as of 7:30 a.m. as a result, although the Swartz Bay side was in better shape.
