WINNIPEG – With the weather getting colder, you may be spending more time inside to stay warm.

Instead of watching movies after work or on weekends, there are other options to try from the comfort of your own home.

Global’s Shannon Cuciz spent the morning at DeLuca’s cooking studio to show how you can make a pizza from scratch.

The first step was making fresh dough from scratch with flour and yeast water.

More than four decades later, the homemade Italian products such as marinated eggplant, roasted peppers, sun dried tomatoes and extra virgin have become a cooking staple.

Winnipeggers can pick up fresh pizza dough, sauce and toppings from DeLuca’s to put a pizza together at home or they can join cooking classes in the store’s cooking studio.
