WINNIPEG — The gang’s all back but this time, it’s for the 2016 World Wheelchair Curling Championship.

Sanford’s Dennis Thiessen was named to Team Canada, reuniting him with the four curlers he won gold with at the 2015 Winter Paralympics in Sochi.

The 54-year-old will throw second at the world championship in Switzerland. The tournament runs from February 21-28, 2016.

Thiessen also won gold at the 2013 World Wheelchair Curling Championship – his first ever bonspiel wearing the maple leaf.

Canada’s wheelchair curling team is currently ranked first despite finishing sixth at the last world championship.
