Unknown dog enters Dartmouth home, drags family’s dog outside and kills it

HALIFAX – Police are investigating after a unknown dog entered a Dartmouth home and dragged the family’s dog outside where it was killed.

The incident happened Monday on Fourth Street.

Officers searched the area and found a dog matching the description of the attacking dog.

Police captured the dog and called animal control.

Police and animal control are investigating.
