By the numbers: Alberta 2012

TORONTO – The Alberta Progressive Conservatives scored their
12th consecutive majority on Monday night. The Liberals lost the title
of Official Opposition to the Wildrose Party, which tried to form the first
non-Conservative government in the province since 1971. Here is the Alberta
election 2012 by the numbers:

87 – Total number of ridings in Alberta

61 – Seats won by the Tories

17 – Seats won by the Wildrose Party
