MONTREAL – An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale was registered shortly after midnight near the Quebec-Ontario border.

The epicenter of the quake was 15 km south of Cornwall, Ontario.

Tremors were felt from Morrisburg to Montreal, as well as northern New York State.
There have been no reports of damage.
