The singer took to Twitter late Monday night to announce he was pulling out of the CBS late-night show, on which he was scheduled to promote his new album “Purpose.”

He then tweeted directly at Colbert:

Bieber cancelled his performance in the parade after cancelling on Colbert, reports Entertainment Tonight. The parade performance was supposed to tape on Tuesday in New York after his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
