UPDATE: School and bus cancellations in Manitoba

WINNIPEG — A blast of cold weather has hit Manitoba Thursday morning, and the blowing snow, high winds and icy roads are causing a slippery commute.

Due to the weather, all school buses and classes within Turtle Mountain School Division are cancelled.

Schools a long Highway 6 in Lakeshore School Division are also closed.  Schools on Highway 17 remain open.
