James Bond is synonymous with driving high-performance vehicles. He’s equally known for destroying them in spectacular fashion.
Daniel Craig, 47, who returns as 007 in Spectre, stopped by the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday to promote the new film and revealed a hilarious “deleted scene” that pokes fun at Bond’s history of destroying the luxury cars.
The skit begins in Rome as Bond stumbles into a car rental company in need of a getaway vehicle after destroying his iconic Aston Martin while escaping assassins.

Colbert, 51, plays Randy, a moustachioed salesman, seemingly unconcerned by Craig’s desperate need for a car.
‘I need a car,’ Craig says.
‘I’ll be right with you,’ Colbert says before shouting into an intercom. ‘Emilio, did you sponge out the inside of that Chevy Malibu? I think that a toddler threw up in it.’
‘Look I need a car really quickly, I am being chased by a number of assassins,’ Craig demands
‘We all have things to do,’ Colbert says condescendingly.
As Randy and MI6’s top agent bicker back and forth the world famous spy realizes that getting a new set of wheels isn’t easy when you’ve returned previous vehicles riddled with bullets or completely destroyed.
Spectre, the latest installment of the Bond franchise, opens in theatres Friday.
