TORONTO – A lockdown has been lifted at Woburn Junior Public School and Woburn Collegiate Institute in east-end Toronto following a police investigation.
Toronto police say a gun call came in at 10:19 a.m. regarding three people walking into Woburn Collegiate Institute located in the Markham Road and Ellesmere Road area.
The Toronto District School Board said the lockdown was put in place as a precaution and all students and staff were safe.
The police K9 and Emergency Task Force were also called to the scene for the investigation.
