MONTREAL – This is the first time in the club’s history that the Montreal Impact is playing in the MLS Eastern Conference semi-finals.
The team is going head to head against the Columbus Crew.
Montreal’s success has been propelled by former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, who finished the regular season with 11 goals in 11 games. Fans are hoping that he can bring his team another victory in this first of two games against Columbus.

At Friday’s practice, Bernier talked about what to expect in the game against Columbus.
“They’re a good team, but we’re confident in our abilities.”
Head coach Mauro Biello is also confident.
“We know we’re at home. We just have to keep that same mind set that we’ve had in the past few games,” he said on Friday.
Soccer history for Montreal could be made tonight.
