REGINA – After sitting vacant for years there has been a big step forward with the Capital Pointe project at the intersection of Albert St. & Victoria Ave.
On Thursday morning the company in charge of the project Fortress Real Developments held an official ground breaking ceremony for the project.
Drilling rigs were seen on the site late Wednesday afternoon.

Despite many snags including permit problems, new owners, and design changes, developers say this marks the beginning of full construction on the site.
