Big changes are starting for TransLink commuters today.
Starting Monday morning, bus zones are no more. The changes are part of the rollout of TransLink’s beleaguered $194-million Compass Card program.
Riders will pay $2.75 for a one-zone ticket to ride on the entire bus and HandyDART networks.

However, anyone using the SkyTrain, West Coast Express and SeaBus will still pay for separate zones.
Starting today, riders with Compass Cards will no longer have to tap out when exiting the bus.
