John Abbott College teachers vote to strike

MONTREAL – Teachers at John Abbott College have voted in favour of a strike mandate.

Teachers voted 89 per cent in favour of holding six days of strikes if negotiations with the government don’t improve.

Riverside and New Frontiers were the first two school boards to vote in favour of a strike.

Eastern Townships School Board: Sept. 23

Lester B. Pearson School Board: Sept. 23-24

English Montreal School Board: Sept. 24

Vanier College: Sept. 25

Dawson College: Sept. 28-29
