SASKATOON – An ongoing police investigation over the past week has resulted in 36 charges being laid against two youths. The two are believed to have been involved in a series of break and enters and vehicle thefts.
During the evening of Sept. 10, Mounties received a complaint about a suspicious vehicle in the rural municipality of Dundurn, Sask.. Officers responded and the vehicle fled, along with a second vehicle.
Both vehicles were stolen out of Saskatoon.
Police followed the first vehicle on rural roads to Highway 11 where it stopped and a lone 16-year-old driver was arrested.
The second vehicle was located abandoned.

One youth faces charges that include possession of stolen property, mischief, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and failing to stop for police. He made his third court appearance Friday in Saskatoon.
The second youth is still at large and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. He is facing 10 Criminal Code charges.
The youth cannot be named under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
No injuries were reported.
RCMP are reminding people to lock their vehicles and homes, regardless of whether they are rural or municipal.
