TORONTO – Two unstoppable forces just work so well together, don’t they?

One Blue Jays fan thinks so and he’s at it again.

“Blank Space”, a song sung by the unstoppable pop culture icon Taylor Swift has been parodied in “First Place” by YouTube poster Adam Jesin. Jesin previously parodied another hit song to a Blue Jays inspired theme: “All About Those Jays.”

The Blue Jays have been capturing the hearts and minds of baseball fans from across Canada since they made a couple blockbuster trades in late July that have helped vault them to the top of the American League East standings.

It’s been 22 years since the Blue Jays were in the MLB playoffs and they seem to be doing it in “style.”

Who knows, perhaps Swift’s “Style” will be the inspiration for the next song Jesin does.
