WINNIPEG — Juno award winning children’s entertainer Al Simmons is marking 45 years in the business with a show that will highlight many of his acts from across his career.

Simmons joined Global Winnipeg’s Morning News Friday to discuss his new show and his early jobs that included being a rock singer and working as a clerk at Manitoba Hydro.
The show kicks off at 1 p.m. at the West End Cultural Centre. Tickets can be bought at the door or online at the venue’s website.
