WINNIPEG – Volatile gas prices are plunging again after they soared to more than $1.20 per litre in mid-August.
Drivers vented as the prices rose while crude oil hit its lowest prices in decades, but the cost is moving back down in Winnipeg Thursday.

The price of gas at the Regent Avenue Costco was 99.4 cents per litre just after 8 a.m., according to winnipeggasprices.com, which posts user-submitted gas prices.
Gas at many stations was posted at $1.05 per litre.
