EDMONTON — Hollywood stars Amy Schumer and J.K. Simmons have taken to social media to recreate Grant Wood’s iconic painting American Gothic.
The picture of Schumer and Simmons posing as the pair in the world-renowned painting was posted to Schumer’s Twitter account on Monday.
The post came following a tweet from Vicky Rogers, an Edmonton-based marketing and public relations professional.
While it didn’t “break the Internet,” Schumer’s follow-up tweet has been retweeted more than 1,200 times and favourited more than 3,000 times.
