Boundaries: This riding’s boundaries have not changed. Situated south of Ottawa on the shore of the St. Lawrence River, this riding includes the communities of Cornwall, Lancaster, Bainsville, Finch, and Williamsburg.
Last Election: Conservative Lauzon won with 62.1 per cent of the vote, followed by Liberal Bernadette Clement, with 17.9 per cent.
History: This area was represented by Liberal MP Bob Kilger from 1988 to 2004, when he was defeated by Lauzon.
Demographics: 82.2 per cent of people in Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry identified as Christian in the 2011 National Household Survey, the third highest figure in Ontario.
