Federal Election 2015: Laurentides-Labelle riding results

Summary: NDP MP Marc-André Morin defeated the Bloc Québécois incumbent to win this seat in 2011, but he couldn’t win the party’s nomination this time out. Simon-Pierre Landry, an emergency room doctor, will try to keep this an NDP seat.

Boundaries: This boundaries of this riding have not changed for 2015. It includes Saint-Sauveur, Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Mont-Laurier, Mont-Tremblant, and Val-David.

Last Election: NDP Morin won with 43.8 per cent of the vote. The BQ incumbent, Johanne Deschamps, finished second with 31.5 per cent.

History: This riding was created in 2004, and Deschamps had won each election for the Bloc before 2011.
