Boundaries: An riding on the east side of Vancouver, it roughly encompasses everything between 16th Avenue, 41st Avenue, Main Street and Boundary Road.
Last Election: Davies defeated Conservative candidate Trang Nguyen by 22 per cent.
History: The area has alternated between voting for the NDP and Liberal Party through the decades. In 2006, MP David Emerson was re-elected here as a Liberal—only to switch to the Conservative Party when they offered a cabinet position weeks after the election.

Demographics: A diverse, working-class riding, Vancouver-Kingsway has the third highest average number of children per household (1.3) and the third lowest median income ($22,614) in B.C. 9.9 per cent of residents were immigrants from the Philippines in the 2011 National Household Survey, the fourth highest figure in the country.
