SASKATOON – Two people are facing charges after a drug bust in Saskatoon. The pair were arrested during a traffic stop Friday evening.
Members of the integrated drug enforcement street team pulled a rental vehicle over in the area of Avenue W South and 17th Street West.
A search turned up 26 pieces of hard cocaine packaged for trafficking and more than $2,000 in cash.
A 28-year-old Toronto man and a 22-year-old Saskatoon woman are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
They were scheduled to appear in Saskatoon provincial court on Monday.
