Longueuil police looking for victims of sexual assault by HIV-positive man

LONGUEUIL — Longueuil police are asking for potential victims of sexual assault by Élie Séraphin to come forward.

According to authorities, the 61-year-old man was arrested in Vieux-Longueuil on April 28.

Séraphin is charged with having sexual relations without disclosing the fact he is HIV-positive.

An investigation revealed he has been with at least two women, and one has since contracted the virus.

Possible victims are asked to come forward by contacting police at 450-463-7211.
