Witnesses told police the driver of the motorcycle was speeding when he lost control and flipped the motorcycle, before striking a lamp post. The man died on scene.

An RCMP collision analyst was called to investigate. Police don’t think alcohol was involved, but believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.

The man’s name is not being released.
