REGINA – Two Regina women who pleaded guilty to a disturbing case of child porn were sentenced to eight years in prison Monday.
The women, 39 and 57, can’t be named to protect the identity of the two girls, who were 10 and 11 at the time of the abuse. The women, both from Regina, were charged in January of 2013.

They admitted to hurting the children with a hammer, a frying pan, an extension cord and a high-heeled shoe, while filming the abuse.
The women have been in custody for the past two years and were both granted credit for time served. They each have more than four years remaining on their sentence.
The judge also requested that all photos and video of the abuse be destroyed.
