Initially, Kelowna RCMP were treating her death as sudden but changed it to a suspicious death. The Serious Crimes Unit was investigating.

On Tuesday, RCMP reclassified Abaku’s death as sudden, adding that they’re looking into reports that she may have fallen down some stairs.

Police say they’re working on the file with the BC Coroner Service.
