TORONTO — Nathan Sykes, the youngest member of UK boy band The Wanted, debuted the video for his solo single “More Than You’ll Ever Know” on Thursday.
The soulful track is showcased in a black-and-white video that barely shows Sykes, who shot to fame with The Wanted’s smash hit “Glad You Came.”
After releasing three studio albums, Sykes and group mates Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Tom Parker announced in early 2014 they were taking a hiatus.
Sykes’ voice is in top form on “More Than You’ll Ever Know” — less than two years after having throat surgery.
The song will be included on the 21-year-old’s debut solo album, which is expected to be released later this year.
Sykes announced this week he’ll do six shows in the UK next month to test out the new songs.
