WATCH: Chris Pratt, Chris Evans surprise children at Seattle hospital

Who says superheroes aren’t real?

After losing a highly publicized Super Bowl bet to actor Chris Evans, fellow Marvel film superhero Chris Pratt paid his dues by visiting Evans’ charity of choice.

He dressed up as his Guardians of the Galaxy character Star-Lord to visit children with cancer last month at Christopher’s Haven in Boston.

But Evans wasn’t about to disappoint the children at Seattle Children’s Hospital, which was Pratt’s charity of choice.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Living up to his superhero character’s good-guy image, Evans reciprocated the favour dressed up as the super serum-enhanced Captain America for the kids at the hospital on Saturday.

Fourteen-year-old Tyler Gower was thrilled to meet his favourite superheroes in person.

Gower’s mom told King 5 News that her son “danced around for quite some time after they left.”

The Hollywood action stars even left gifts and some words of encouragement.

“It says: To Tyler, dream big,” said Gower, reading the note Evans wrote on a toy Captain America shield.

The visit was a big boost to the young Leukemia patient, who will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant on Thursday.

Evans tweeted that he had met some real superheroes at the hospital Saturday.
