News Hour host Chris Gailus was named Best Local News Anchor at the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards.
Accepting his award at a ceremony in Toronto Tuesday night, Gailus thanked his wife Jane and son William and paid tribute to all the people “who put together an amazing show every night.”
Global BC and BC1 earned a Best Local Reportage award for coverage of the Mount Polley mine disaster.
