HALIFAX – The Nova Scotia Liberal Party has confirmed Dartmouth South MLA, Allan Rowe, has been hospitalized and is recovering from a medical procedure.
A statement from the party says Rowe and his family are asking for privacy and that the Liberal caucus wishes him a “very speedy recovery.”

The party expects Rowe to return to his duties once his health allows.
Rowe, a former radio and TV broadcaster at Global News, was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in 2013.
