VANCOUVER – Monday marks the anniversary of Lindsay Buziak’s murder and her family is still looking for answers.
The 24-year-old realtor was killed while showing a home in Saanich in 2008.
On Feb. 2, 2008, Buziak received a call from a woman asking for a showing at about 5:30 p.m. Later, Buziak got a call from a man, who said he’d meet with her alone instead.
It has been reported that Buziak felt uneasy about the showing and asked her boyfriend to check in on her.
At about 6:15 p.m. police received two 911 calls, one from outside the house, then minutes later, one from inside, asking for medical help.

Buziak’s body was found by her boyfriend, Jason Zailo, 15 minutes after her death.
The man and the woman who met Buziak at the house are the prime suspects in the case. Investigators believe the young realtor was targeted, but despite hundreds of tips, her murder remains unsolved.
WATCH: Remembering Lindsay Buziak:
Her father, Jeff Buziak, leads an annual walk in her memory in Victoria. The Lindsay Buziak Walk for Justice starts at 10 a.m.
“People want to know what went on that evening of February the 2nd,” said Jeff in 2013. “People want to know why an innocent young woman was executed while working in a suburb of greater Victoria, in Saanich, in a nice little neighbourhood. They want to know what the heck’s going on, and I think it needs to be solved sooner than later.”
